Want to try that comment again? http://mingle2.com/topic/show/213803  Save it for someone who cares.We all know what this place is about.I know just by seeing the name of who started a post that I already know that it is going to be about Christians and how wrong they are before I even open it up.You want to be fair and balanced try talking about another religion other than Christians(like that will ever happen). The same could be said for the other side. We all know some threads will be pro-christainity and anti everyone else by just seeing the op name, but we are all adults and are big boys and girls and should be able to carry on intelligent debate about whatever is posted. If one does not wish to engage in thoughtful debate about what they write, then why post at all. What some see as childish arguments others of us see as debate. I can back up what I believe, but I am flexible enough to consider other peoples ideas even if I end up thinking they are wrong. |

General religion chat is used almost exclusively for Atheist and others to insult,harass,and put down Christians.Nearly every one of these posts is either talking or revolving around the Christian religion.Despite the RULES which were posted in January you still get the same members(you know who you are)looking for any excuse to bring the Christian religion into their own racist agenda for no other reason then to put down that religion. If this website had any guts or common sense at all it would delete the General religion chat and let the members of what ever religion they belong to chat in their own private room.But since the General religion chat is used almost exclusively for Christian bashing I would have to assume this website has it's own hidden agenda. Thomas, you seem clearly unable to see from any other point of view. Personally I believe this website gives quite a bit for room for discussion. I believe that if devout Christians do not want to be criticized than going to their own religious forum would be their best bet. Personally I find it takes more guts to open ones mind and explore. Why Christians who are unwilling to see other points of view would post here is beyond me, but at the same time it is fascinating how easily Christianity and other religions can be contradicted. I would miss this forum even though I personally think it's named wrong, but have no idea what it could be named to make it less insulting to those that find it only a bash fest. I don't know where you got racist agenda, but then I won't spend much time on that. Wow didn't think I would get much response to this after the first few posts. |
