Well that and the weirdest and not so good thing happened... I had a date yesterday a first meeting.. I was really sick and didn't want to go, you know how first dates are.. So he called and asked if I was there.. I wasn't even ready.. So he said get ready I'll be there waiting.. I rush around got ready, drove there and he was no where to be found.. I called and it went right to voicemail... Needless to say I was stood up.. But it seemed weird b/c he seemed so into meeting, etc. So I came home kind of pissed of but in the back of my mind wondering if something happened to him.. Today I get an im from his roommate saying that he was in a motorcycle accident on his way to meet me and pretty banged/broken up.. I was floored.. So glad I didn't send a nasty email, which I thought of doing.. Well that sucks all the way around. Of course, I woulda understood if you just came out and told me that you were sick and didn't wanna go on the date...

Apparently his cheeks, nose, ribs, one of the T vertebrae in his neck is broken, cuts on his face and eye stitched up.. Pretty bad shape but not critical.. The car knocked him into the guardrail, he fell off his bike and his friend ran him over then crashed too but didn't fair quite as badly..

Well... that's why you don't go riding a motorcycle to a date. Too many things can happen to stand your date-to-be up.

The funny thing is it was our first meet and he had finally talked me into it.. Poor guy, I'm bad luck.. So now, our first meet will be me visiting him in the hospital...

Yeah. Just don't pack him a to-go box of food from that restaurant the both of you were supposed to go to, as that's like adding insult to injury.

actually no I have had to deal with family,friends and seeing others die
