I've been in this situation a few times and i've tried in some cases to stay, to see if my feelings would change, they didn't. I think, ultimately, if you know you don't love them and never will then go, give them a chance to meet someone that can return their love.

Unfortunately, what you get to know about someone, over-rides most of the good qualities they may have. I would not, could not, maintain a relationship where it was not right, for either party.

I have a track record to prove it......

You committed yourself to this person. How can you just walk away after 19 years. People change and grow and your love should too. It's too easy to give up and walk away.

I could tell you stories . But I wo'nt. It's up to each couple to decide I guess as long as they are on the same page .But if one or the other does'nt know tell or get off the pot !

19 years is a long time. Now the kids are grown, why not try to light the fire again from the spark that was once there?

I would think, that after that long, you've probably handled a lot of issute...Try finding that spark, that brought you together first, ya never know, it just may need to be "rekindled".....
