Soon I will need to start thinking about me!!!! Scary thought!!! I understand this. While I don't want to be alone forever, just thinking about dating throws me into a panic attack.

Five years is a long time. Dont ya think? Yeah....18 is even longer!!!! Choices!!!! I can't and won't expect someone else to mother my child. It's just not something reasonable to ask of someone. We are a package, her and I. I tried about 5 years ago, I got married, and it didn't turn out so well. We are still friends and my daughter still calls her "mom" even though she isn't, which I'm ok with..but it has made me realize this is a very complicated matter and to me at least... there is nothing more important than helping my daughter succeed in this world, because when I am gone she will have no family what so ever except one that she makes.

Good approach Single...I am dealing with something similar with my woman's 14 year old son. (the kid has been through a lot) I let him know...he is the man of the house and I am not his father...but, maybe in time...I can be his friend. You are right bro....it gets complicated. Anyhow, just doing some coffee and giving my mind a bit of a break.... Today, I am wrapping my brain around the template for the FDA's HACCP template. (Hazard Accesment of Critical Control Points)...waaaay to much stuff involved to go into detail here. But, everyone in the high command is very encouraging since only one other guy out of all seven branches is certified....but, no doubt it is getting to me...I woke up thinking of the acceptable levels off TTHM's (trihalomethanes) in a milliliter of water multiplied by 2 liters per day multiplied buy an average 70 year life span... Good God....I miss just having dirty sex dreams.

I gotta point out to the ghosts of the PCU past who may read this.... it ain't the same without participation.... We all should climb back into the ring and enjoy it....or just dissolve the Unit. Not fair to ask a few people to shoulder the concept of PCU. Just a thought.
