Why do most men wear their watch on the left wrist?

Most of people live in this world perform their major jobs with right hand. When you tie wrist watch of left hand you can also keep watch and study time bound activities incase of any urgency.

because Chuck Norris wanted it that way, lol

it is traditional, because most people are right handed. If the watch were worn on the right hand, it is more likely to be damaged...i haven't confirmed this...it's just a common sense thing.

It's the style. It's traditional.

If I'm writing or doing something with my right hand, I can look at my left.

I'm left handed and I wear my watch on my right wrist. When on my left wrist, the watch drags on the desk as I write, and sometimes just gets in the way.

I have to assume it's the same for right handed people. And that is how most traditions start, simply by being repeated by many.

You do whatever is most comfortable for you!

I quit wearing watches many years ago.

I remember I even had it on in the shower or even sleep when i was a teenager.

Now, I don't care much about the time anymore and if i really gotta know the time i look at my cell phone.

Its got to do with the brain position,i used to wear my belt from the right side for a long time and folks back at high school were used to laughing at me.then i found out its supposed to be from the left side.the watch stuff is pretty same depends on the position of the brain.comfort and addiction over a long time makes us go against the natural way of doing things.for me watches, belts, manicure all start and should be on the left hand have you noticed that even when you apply deodorant you start from an obvious side!
