Guess what its RAINING!!

We the people of Delaware have a surplus of 186 million in the rainy day fund. Governor Jack Markell has the power to tap into this fund. Call your representatives set to vote by Monday and say no the state worker can not handle a 50% increase in their health benefit charges. We are paid at least 8000 less per year than all of the states surrounding us. We can not handle an 8-10% pay cut across the board. What will the people of Delaware do without the protection of the police, the prison guards, teachers to teach their children, social workers, and emergency services to guide you in time of need? Call these people and tell them to vote no or they will not have our vote next time around. We the people hire them.

Ann Visalli, OMB Director, Chair SEBC 302 739 4206
Velda Jones-Potter, State Treasurer 302 672 6700
Russell T. Larson Controller general 302 744 4200
Karen Weldin Stewart, Insurance Commissioner 302 674 7300
Gary M. Pfeiffer, Secratary of Finance 302 577 8984
Henry Smith, Deputy Secretary of DHSS 302 255 9040

If anyone needs their District Rep # let me know your district# and I will be happy to forward the phone number. Tell them to vote no Delaware. We work for you and continue to do so everyday. i personally take the 15 minutes extra in the store to talk to the people of Delaware and let them know what they can do for the help they need.

Tell your neighbors, families, and co-workers to call and say no to lower our pay and increasing the amount of our benefits. This will only hurt the economy. It will place workers on health and benefits causing the state economy to plummet more.

I have delt with making concessions for many years over Healthcare!!! Welcome to my world!!!!!

We shouldn't have to, we have always had a surplus. Maybe you should raise your voice instead of sitting back and taking it. We don't make that much as it is, just barely enough to scrape by and we don't live the best. These are hard working people that give up a lot to do what they do.

Markell is betting the farm on gambling. You know when Ocean Downs puts in the slot machines, its going to kill Harrington and Dover.

Sports betting is not going to generate enough revenue to counteract the losses in the slots revenue. Little old ladies that fuel the slots industry, arent going to be making parlay bets on the NFL.

No, but believe me their are enough in the State of Delware to keep it going. It will bring sports betters from MD though and while they are there don't you think they might partake of the blackjack and slots maybe??
