sounds like a pulled muscle.
Put ice on it for twenty mins every 2 hrs.Make sure the ice doesn't have direct contact with your skin and put a pillow underneath your knees when laying down. Laying flat with legs flat is not the normal position for your spine.
After 48 hrs apply heat.
who has time for that?

You could or may want to try this .. http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.item.V27801.desc.Backjoy-Portable-Supportive-Back-Orthotic

It's supposed to help with posture and all. I wouldn't mind getting one or more when I have some extra money or just when I have even more money for that matter lol.

I have been told I need to work on my posture, however I find it some what tough to do, not sure why just get used to sitting one way and all.

I used to work for a chiropractor. A heatin gpad helps for pain...an ice pack is good for swelling. If you can take aspirin, it is an anti-inflamatory. try alternating the heat and ice. that may help some

depends
There could be several causes
low back strain
herniated disk
slipped disk
fracture
what are the symptoms?
it is just mainly sore i notice it 1st thing when i get out of bed. I think it may be cause I do not sit up straight all the time in chairs maybe..

Might need a new mattress...and sit-up straight, lol!

Try Aleve or anything like that, might help with the pain, Aleve I believe isn't aspirin so you should be fine there. Besides I think aspirin can only make your stomach bleed if you do not follow how to use it and all.. but I could be wrong.
