....you were ever born?
More specifically, by and large, has your life been a nightmare more often than not, and have you ever wondered why you ever even existed? |

I've wondered it.. not lately.. but before. There were some bad times when I was a kid, and I carried them through with me to the teen years.
I'm good now, though. And glad I was born. ;) |

I think I'm being punished for something I did in a past life!

I was born because my Mom and Dad didn't know how to keep their teen hormones in check whilst in the back seat of the car. My life has had it's ups and downs but heck who's hasn't. Wonder about my own existence? Nope too busy just tryin to get thru the day without chokin those that annoy me

I think it's a good question to ask. It should inspire us to be worth the life we have to live.

....you were ever born? More specifically, by and large, has your life been a nightmare more often than not, and have you ever wondered why you ever even existed? I really don't wonder "why" about much of anything, because I don't think there's any metaphysical reason for anything at all. There's no purpose to life other than that which we choose to ascribe to it. I was born because my parents had sex -- a simple cause-and-effect scenario. Having said that, I will admit that, more often than not, I wish they hadn't bothered. |

I was born because my parents absolutely wanted another little girl and they went through 3 more boys to get me. But, that, in and of itself, has nothing to do with God's plan in general. And, I'll always be clueless about it, other than I did procreate two BEAUTIFUL also-meant-to-be daughters with hearts as pure and loving as is humanly possible!!

Wondered some, and better yet, wondered if I had a different Mother or Father would I still be "Me"?
What If I was born in the Sahara? Rowanda? Siberia? Copenhagen? Egypt? Panama? Uruguay? What if my parents were Gates? Rockefeller? Dryfuss? Lucas? Would I still be me? |

I don't wonder why, it just is. If there's a "higher" purpose, I'm sure I'll find out when I'm dead. As for the here and now, I just try to live each day to the fullest, in a way that brings me happiness, peace, joy and love and I strive to have no regrets.

*sigh*...^^^that nose is SO turning me on^^^
When I was little I was convinced that there was a town somewhere in the world (I pretended it was a village in Africa) where people were able to watch me live on TV 24 hours a day. Kind of like a neverending soap opera. Yeah, I was kind of a strange child. |

Ahh, another thread of mine that met an early demise. Thank you, all who responded.
Carry on. |

Music, I have never wondered this. My entire life goal is to leave the world a better place than I found it, even if only in small ways.
