these polls mean nothing.

What else do we have to go by?

I go by the stock market. it is non partisan and represents the American economy's impressions of how he is doing

most polls are created trying to prove something in the first place so they are suspect with me

I go by the stock market and the polls.

Polls are nice to get a feel for what's going on to me.

if you think...most of the country is happy with this guy...then...you're livin' in a dreamworld...my favorite is when he says " I inherited the deficit / debt "...if my memory is correct...this guy was right their in the Senate...voting for all this spending...who the hell is he crappin' !!...and God forbid the press would call him out on it...also...if you check out Zogby and Rassmussen...his poll numbers are in a dive...nobody...voted for the confiscation of private property...redistribution of wealth...government run healthcare...government takeover of private business...from G. Washington to GW Bush...this guy has already surpassed...their accumulative debt...in just 65 days...what we have here...is " Stateism "...modeled after western Europe...it's actually kind of scary whats going on...
No prz in history stomped on the constitution or our civil liberties more than GWB...Funny thing is he start all this bailout crap!!!!! Did he "EVER" stand before the American people and give the slightest clue we were heading into a financial meltdown until he stood before us and said we need 800 billion????? At Least with Obama whether hes right or wrong he is saying whats going on...

no he's not...he's reading it off a teleprompter...
NICE!!!! Skip over the parts you DONT want to address..

Psst...I guess he doesn't know that they all use teleprompters.

I didn't see one at the press conference, btw. Or at the debates.

Bush and Obama were working pretty close together at the start of the bailouts. Bush even held back half of the bailout money ($350 Billion) for Obama to use as he saw fit. They BOTH saw the need for it

but the Obama bashers are gonna see everything in the context of "I hate Obama" and the Bush bashers are gonna see everything in the context of "I hate Bush" and no one will actually see the realities of the whole mess cause they are too caught up in agendas

Opening comments? So what? He didn't use them during the important parts.

Bush couldn't even talk right with the teleprompters.laugh

Btw, what do teleprompters have to do with being a good President?

With the exception of Junior, I believe that every president has had the best interests of the country at heart- agree or disagree with the policies they promoted. For this reason, I would typically say I APPROVE of the job they were doing. Junior and his henchmen had their own agenda, constitution and rule of law be damned.

In Obama, we have someone who is actually considering facts and evidence and trying to come to the best solution. The last 8 years have been a disaster and have set the country back decades both financially and in our standing around the world. We must first deal with our immediate crisis and then devise a plan to deal with our long term budget problems. I believe this is what Obama is doing.

So, put me in the APPROVE column.

Dude. All presidents have speech writers. Their job is to put into words what the president wants to express. The president doesn't blindly read DAVID Axelrod's speech- or any other speechwriter's.

that just makes my point

if you refuse to watch the news from a station that doesnt support your personal partisan philosophy then you are gonna miss out on the whole other side of the story

you have to watch em all to know what is going on
