What do you all think about this? I think they have a way to go and believe they should bolster the roster to at least 58 players instead of the current 53. Might also make for shorter careers for some, which would suck if they ar Pro Bowl caliber players, fun to watch!

Go Bears! drinker

It would have to be 18. The home/road thing would be out of whack and don't even talk to me about neutral site games. They would need to end the season later not start it earlier. February is a crappy sports month anyway, and starting the season before Labor day would not feel right.

I agree..February is a crappy month, weather and all! Great for my team, we crave crap weather in a football game in Chicago

Well, they already play at least 20 games a year.(4 preseason+16 Regular season)
So the only real way I see this working, IF it happens, is that the Preseason goes down to 2 games, and the other 2 just get added on to the regular season.

That is the plan.
