While I'm interested in receiving mutual matches, I'm not so fond of sifting through so many that are poor matches for me. It would be nice if we could customize our criteria more. For instance, I'm not interested in folks who live out of state. I'd like to be able to limit my pool to 10 or 15 miles from my location. I also would like to limit users by religion, body type, etc. I have to click on the complete profile in order to find the relevant information I need, which just wastes time. I want to find a person who is right for me, but I seem to get an excess of Mr. Wrongs. I'd also like more limits on who can see my profile and contact me, if that's possible.

I realize this is a free site, so making it suit our needs better might not be a priority. But if it is, please consider my suggestions. Thanks!!

I think the mutual match is initially based on your search settings, so if you do an advanced search, you can adjust all the settings you mentioned.

Welcome to the forums, BEBBADIVA. If you have your preferences set on the following page, then the system will not try to match you with people outside of those preferences.

It is possible, however, for others to click the 'Match with Her' button in your profile (which will result in that person showing up in your Mutual Match "slide show"). This might be what is happening, if you already do have your preferences set. We might change this, but such change is not a sure thing.
