OK, I am in tears over your display picture. I literally just screamed. PLEASE hun, can you change that thing ? I am wigged out over here. What is there to wig out over??? This girl has a unnuatural deathly fear of spiders. Just thinking of them cringe. Oh, sorry. That's a coconut crab from the Marshall Island area.

I disagree. I don't like chat rooms. And I do like forums. And I do think photographs and forums CAN give an idea of people's personalities. Maybe you can get used to a new way is all. Welcome and best wishes!!

For one thing, you're entirely misguided. I have met more than 100 people from online, and 99% of them have been from forums. Don't tell me it can't be done. You are also not going to sell me on that "looks shouldn't matter" bullsh!t. Instead of whining about it, try DOING something about it.

I have spent the past few week looking through chat rooms just to find out that people dont go to them anymore. Its like blogs and forums are the death of chat rooms! Now people go by pictures to find friends and lovers but what does a picture tell you?? Nothing about there personality thats for sure! I joined this place thinking it had chat rooms or a way to have a active conversation with someone. I think the worst way to meet people is by judging what they look like and not by who they are! I'm sorry. I'm just annoyed and venting because places like this are as impersonal as it gets and feeds the divorce rate of this country. I sound like a sinic! Its just so hard to meet people anymore and places like blogs and forums are not helping. We have gone from full out conversations to one-liners to find or attract good people. And these days, good people are few and fare in between. God, I sound like i'm old!! lol Well, sorry again for my ramblings, I just feel lost anymore. Perhaps you should try chatting with people, rather than worrying about being judged by a picture? You mentioned chat rooms, however you can get to know people here by joining the forums.
