The Department of Homeland Security and police forces label anyone who they disagree with - or who disagrees with their policies - as "terrorists".

Don't believe me?

Well, according to a law school professor, pursuant to the Military Commissions Act, "Anyone who ... speaks out against the government's policies could be declared an 'unlawful enemy combatant' and imprisoned indefinitely. That includes American citizens."

http://www.counterpunch.org/cohn09302006.html

And according to an FBI memo,
http://www.aclu.org/pdfs/tmcterrorismmemo.pdf

peace protesters are being labeled as "terrorists". Indeed, police have been terrorizing children, little old ladies and other "dangerous" people who attempted to peacefully.

http://georgewashington2.blogspot.com/2008/09/police-terrorize-children-reporters-and.html

And a 2003 FBI memo describes protesters' use of videotaping as an "intimidation" technique, even though - as the ACLU points out - "Most mainstream demonstrators often use videotape during protests to document law enforcement activity and, more importantly, deter police from acting outside the law." The FBI appears to be objecting to the use of cameras to document unlawful behavior by law enforcement itself.

And the Internet has been labeled as a breeding ground for terrorists,
http://infowars.net/articles/november2007/131107terror.htm
with anyone who questions the government's versions of history being especially equated with terrorists.

Now, the state of Missouri has labeled as terrorists current Congressman Ron Paul and his supporters, former Congressman Bob Barr, libertarians in general, anyone who holds gold, and a host of other people.

In other words, anyone who disagrees with the "acceptable" way of looking at things is a terrorist.

This IS a political forum.

None other than Jay Rockefeller, geez that name keeps coming up in history, has said that the Internet is dangerous and it would have been better if it had never been invented. He pushes for "Internet 2"

We already knew there were American terrorists. Or at least if we read the news we know.

As for who gets to classify who is a terrorist, well each different belief or group would have a different definition.

Well known American terrorists are white supremacist groups, religious groups example abortion clinic terrorists, political terrorists like McVey, etc...

I guess what I am saying is the term is so subjective it is hard to say sometime who is and who isn't a terrorist.

Bush tried to put an Arab face on the word but all faces and origins fit the term there is no one type of terrorist.

McVeigh was simply a stooge, there are very few actual terrorists except for the ones on Government payroll. The Unabomber was part of CIA mind control program. Ruby Ridge was a set up...ect

Most Christian Identity groups get mis-labeled as white supremist. Even the true ones have very little actual violence.

There are very few acts of violence by Abortion protesters. They just get TONS of publicity. Animal rights groups and environmentalists are much worse.

It is the media that puts all these thoughts in your head.

The war on terror is really a war on the rights of all Americans and our soveriegnty.

Many Gov'ts employ the term terrorist to fit thier own agendas.

The British recently labeled Iceland as a Terrorist country in order to sieze thier funds and equities in British holdings...(My good friend is from Iceland and hase kept me updated)

This has stimulated the worst financial crisis in Icelandic history. In order for the country to get international credit for banking...each and everyone of thier citizens is now $40,000 in debt (over night) after having all bank accounts siezed from three of the four banks in the country.

Now, I rag on my friend everyday for being a terrorist.

I would hardly be suprized at this point if our own gov't pulled this stunt on it's own citizens.

Their trying to build a prison state, a state of fear and panic. No different then it was 10 or so years ago, just more predominant now. All the prisons are full damn near to max capacity, most inmates are petty offenders with a drug rap.

...And we wonder why we are in debt, and we wonder why we have defiance, and we wonder why the people don't accept their government...

As the Government built this "anti-terror" aparatus, I jumped up and down and pointed at it and I warned those on the false right that Historically, whenever you allow a government to built this kind of machine, at the expense of civil liberties, it's only a matter of time before it gets turned on its own citizens.

Now they have it built and are in the middle of swinging the barrel of the gun inward on us and I am jumping up and down trying to warn those on the false left what "their" guy is doing.

When I criticized Bush, I was a "Loony Liberal", Now I'm all over Obama's lying criminal activity and I'm a "Rightwing Racsist".

God I love this country...
