What is the best (Worst) excuse you have been told as to the reasoning
behind a breakup?

The best one I heard was that she thought the relationship was over
without talking too, asking me, or even letting me know that she thought
the relationship was over years ago. It blew me away because I feel that
love is a two way street and not a one way alley and to have a true
relationship that had endured ten years with 3,000 miles between
fingertips be over because she thought so turned our two way street into
a one way alley going her way.

Lots of years ago friend but It was the old "I think of you more as my
brother" line.Like a dumbass I fell for it but to this day we are both
much older and proud to say "STILL FRIENDS".LOL (so maybe I wasnt a
dumbass after all.That just hit me)

I've only been dumped once and there was no excuse needed....

I was told that my boobs weren't firm enough or big enough. Now wasn't
that some excuse.

Oh, the old "I love you but I'm not IN love with you" crap...the "it was
just sex; it didn't mean anything" crap...yada yada..

Let's see........First, I was told to stay at my mom's for a little
while, so my ex could "get his head clear"......Then, 4 days later, he
broke it off with me over the phone....Shallow....Wimp.......Anyways,
the day before he broke up with me, he closed our bank account down and
took all the money out without telling me. I went to go buy a soda and a
pack of smokes and I was denied for insufficient funds.......Then he
calls me the next day and says "I've spoken with my family and we need
to end this"..........What?? He's a 35 year old man!! Then he proceeds
to tell me that he wasn't happy for awhile, but kept telling himself
he'd be happy again, but it never happened. He didn't love me like he
thought he should, blah, blah, blah.....I lived with him for 2 years and
dated him for 3.......Had a miscarriage of twins with him back in
2005......Got sick last March of 2006 and then in May while I was still
sick, he kicked me out.

What the he!! you doin with a 35 yr old guy?

When I was dumped he never gave me any reason- he just left!

Left me wondering what the heck! It was a long relationship too-
and broke my heart badly. Should of told me something-jeese...

she was unemployed..drove a clunky Nissan and livied in an apartment
owned by her mother...WTF

kitten, I just think at a young age, age matters more. Seems very few
wide age spread things work. Closness in age make thought patterns mor
similar. Sorry he was a jerk, you deasrve better.

Was married so young most excuses would be from high school.
