I can't get a date, whether on here or in real life. I'm starting to get really frustrated.

Can anyone give me some advice?

Wish I could -- I'm in the same boat.

Can't find anyone within a reasonable distance who's even remotely interesting. And the type of person I'm looking for doesn't seem to use dating sites.

BTW, I checked out your profile, and it's very nicely done. Good information -- I can tell you put some thought into it. I wish more people would do that. I run across so many that just say "I don't know what to write here" or "Anything you want to know, you'll have to ask."

I have a sense of who you are from reading your profile, and that's more than I can say for most.

The voices and accents thing caught my eye, too, because I do a lot of that stuff (took 4 years of Russian in high school, and I can shift into that accent, and several others, at a moment's notice).

I think you'll do fine here -- you just need some time and exposure. Use the forums -- that's the key to getting noticed.

Stop trying so hard. You are the second person today with that complaint. You can't hurry love and also coming off like a female version of Peppe Le Pew does not help at all either if you get like that. Women who get man crazy scare men off easily. it usually means "Marriage hungry" to men and most do not want that. It makes me at least feel like an animal you are trying to rope and not a man.

Dating is tricky and also requires patience. You are young and have time. I hear this crap about my age and how I am getting older but I don't buy that either. There is a lot more to happiness than mommy and daddy told you. The fact is we all are getting older but we do not have to be rushed into anything. Spend the time you got concentrating on yourself and making a life for YOU! Relationships can be more damage to your personal life than good if you are not balanced.

Trust me on this one. You are PHAT! Pretty Hot and Tempting. Just take your time! You are in no rush. There are so many choices and you have to do your research to find the right person for you otherwise you are looking at a long line of unhappy compromise!

It might be because of your height. Me...personally...I have a hard time dating anyone that is taller than me. I'm 5'10. Granted...I know most guys are taller than me or 6'0. And I'm not discriminating against tall girls, or trying to come off as shallow.

Oh come on folks, that whole 'woman being taller than me' thing is a load and I mean a steaming load of crap! The tallest woman I dated was 6'3" and our breakup had nothing to do with her being three inches taller than me. She got religion! That was what killed it for me! There are things I can to to a woman who is taller than me I can't with a woman shorter than me unless I bend very creatively (which I can do).

The height issue just shows how shallow people are!
