that when your talking to someone, and getting to know them on here, and they find out that you do want something more than a fling, they stop talkin to you, and then you have tp start the whole process over again. worth it? i dunno i hope so, any insight?

Better to find out now than if you really make some sort of commitment with them but not everyone is like that, keep trying!

Yes that has happened to me also. I keep going on though. I do wish some would be a bit more honest about just wanting a fling. At times it does make me feel like I'm wasting my time.

But then it doesnt have to seem like an effort, it is very possible to make your online experience a lot of fun(for example, get involved with this forum community).

But then it doesnt have to seem like an effort, it is very possible to make your online experience a lot of fun(for example, get involved with this forum community). Be warned though, you could end up with someone like Dan! As much as it pains me to say this, Dan is actually not a bad guy. He met someone through the forums and they are really well suited to each other. So, you could get lucky like that too!

I wouldn't be interested in anybody who only wanted a fling, so I'd be glad to stop talking to them. That's the sort of thing that both sides should be clear about from very early on.

Must be the people you talk to
