If you are interested in someone, how many times to do look at their profile before contacting them?

does it show up everytime you view someone or just the first time

I dunno. I guess it depends. I always delete my views. So new views show up.

If you don't clear the 'view' list then the amount of views won't repeat the profile that viewed you, but it does update the time they viewed you (18 minutes ago, etc).

I clear mine about every hour so I see the repeat guys that perv my profile. I get some that view me 5 times a day. Either I am not their type but they consider my profile like a car accident: they don't want to look but they do any way -- OR -- they aren't serious about contacting me, meeting me or dating me. They just want to perv my profile. Who knows?

I contact a guy straight away if I view it and like! I always write unless he has email filters that are outside of my criteria; in that case, I send a nudge!

If he doesn't reply then I dimiss him as not interested and I don't view his profile again. I move on .....

Don't you take notice of their profile name? That's how I recall members.

I agree that a new pic will throw me off. I just pay attention to their names and then I won't bother them with a view if we are not a match.

Even when i was single i rarely contacted anyone first, but then i wasn't really looking to meet anyone. My playing it cool tactics worked very well!

As I'm living in a country that has very little (read: practically none) in the way of female participants on this site, I tend to look at some profiles quite a few times but will probably never contact them to try start something with them. Friends, however, are always welcome. Some profiles are very detailed and very interesting to read too, there's a few that I've taken inspiration from!

It depends, sometimes I'll contact on the first sight, sometimes I'll visit seveal times. It depends on how interested I am and how busy I am at the time.
