decisions lately? I've been unemployed for over a year now and frankly I've gotten sick of being at home and worrying about how to pay the bills to keep the utilities from being shut off.

I made the decision today to make a life altering change. I'm going to be embarking upon a 8 week training course to become a Phlebotomist. At the age of 42 I'm going to learn a completely new job skill. I look forward to this little adventure with great enthusiasm. This will enable me to become more gainfully employed. It will allow me to finally move myself and my boys down to the coast where I've wanted to be for several years.

So, anybody else made any big decisions lately?shades

Actually I have. Spent all winter wallowing in the hurt of a failed relationship. Shook it off with the coming of spring. Started Yoga. Actually stopped walking around with my eyes on the ground. New season, new me. Next is finding a place to volunteer.

Congrats!

My life altering decision was to sign a lease on a rental yesterday. I'm scared to death and excited as all get out. But can I do it? We'll see!

Good for you Mr. Beans!
I altered my life last summer. I left Washington state, (after living there 30 yrs.), to move down to New Mexico to be with my man.

Wow where do I start well I left my old job working at a Ski Resort and bought a Club drinker Since then the stress level increased and I had a Heart Attack. I now have a Pacemaker at the age of 41 and do Cardio vasular therapy everydaygrumble

So I guess my next step is to lay low, rid myself of stress. Smoke more ,Drink more, and eat Twinkieswhoa Let alone pursue a relationship with someone.

OK I need a hug tears

Crap I forgot Good luck to you Beans

Best of luck with your new career.....
I have been a phlebotomist for nearly 25 years and I still find it endlessly fascinating and I still love it....
My biggest life decision lately was to get out and try dating again.... It's all changed since I was young...(I'm 49)

A phlebotomist draws blood from your arm when you need a lab test done. Some like me also do limited testing in the lab.
