I'd like that! I haven't been to Canada in 15 years, but don't I need a passport to cross the border now? Not until the end of June (or the beginning, I'm not quite sure) of this year. |

I've never had one, because I've never needed one. I don't even know how much they cost, or anything.

Lighthouselover. Where to even begin! She's essentially a surrogate mother to me. She noticed me from the first post I made on "The Site Where You Can't Say Chad" and reminded me of it, even after I'd forgotten it myself. Exceptionally warm with a very low tolerance for drama, she opened her home and her heart to me. She's got a fantastic point of view with many things and I, like others, have sought her counsel on various things. One of the few people I've encountered in my life that I feel that I can fully open up to. I could say so so so much more but I think I'll summarise by saying that I love her with all my heart.

Were you ^^ planning on telling everyone how sweet and nice I am? And make a liar of myself?! Tee hee, just kidding! Papersmile is one of the people that I had the pleasure of meeting last year on my second trip to the US. I truly didn't know what to make of her on-line, mainly because a persons personality doesn't always translate well from written text, gut instinct said that she was good people though. And it was right! Let's face it, anyone that can put up with Dan for such a long trip is probably as close to a saint as you can get! She's a warm person, no BS with her but she's not cutting or sharp, she just tells it as it is. Pretty easy to get along with, highly intelligent, quick witted and looks pretty foxy in or out of a swimsuit....wait, that sounds wrong.... Haha, I hope I didn't hold a gun to your head for that! I was expecting all ya'll to say something about how my photos always look like they've been photoshopped and after seeing me in lake water for 4 days without bathing, brushing, or preening, I was pretty darn ratty, haha! I was expecting Andy to have the soft, musical accent like the Lucky Charms Leprachan, but I got a lesson about the different regions and how they speak. I might look better in a bikini than he does, but damn he owns that 'Baywatch' scene. Every bit as sarcastic in real life, with a darn cute smile, he was charming and everyone I know, myself included, thinks he's a really special guy. I think there's a picture of us floating around somewhere, but after Lisa copied all the photos on disk, I've deleted many of them. Even my kids (who are hard to impress) thought very highly of him, especially that he let them use his camera for 'survivor scenes at the beach' and to sing him their own version of 'happy birthday'. lol no, there was no gun to my head! I still don't think I'm that sarcastic (ok, I can't keep a straight face saying that!). I think that I have that picture here! Or at least one of them, I'll take a look.... EDIT changed font color to a more manly green! |

Brit! If you really prefer I can make it disappear! But for the record, you still look great! I actually hate these pictures of myself, cringing at the amount of weight I had on me back then! And it was a FANTASTIC weekend Keith! Best vacation ever! |

Nah, it's okay. I'm not THAT vain. It's actually quite funny (and I'm feeling the need to go and post in the thread about why us women should always wear makeup - even while swimming haha)
~~~ I really can notice the weight loss even in your face Andy. You looked good then too, and you look great now. Keep it up! |
Thanks, I think that I prefer what I am becoming to where I am coming from! Dan's reaction to the new picture was to ask if I have AIDS, ha ha! Must do a write up on him actually..... |
Dan99 - comes across as rude, mean, sarcastic and a little evil here on Mingle - and it's even worse in real life! Ha ha!
However Dan comes across here, however you see him, there's a hell of a lot more to him in real life. A top bloke, funny as hell, quick witted, kind, generous. I really can't fault him, apart from his latent homosexuality that rears it's head when he's been drinking. As long as you don't bend over in front of him he's a great friend to have your back! |
I've never had one, because I've never needed one. I don't even know how much they cost, or anything. My son just got one to go to Mexico .. it was 85 becuz he's a child. They go up from there. |
It's pretty obvious to me that more people here have to meet, whether it's for friendship or some other reason. Otherwise, you're just spinning your wheels. I totally agree .. unless the goal is for posters/members to just be 'someone' behind the pc screen. If so .. how sad is THAT? Real life is the final ticket eh Keith? Yup, yup! There's Dan, and Matty's hiding behind him, sitting on the cooler, and Virginia, and you, and me, and Cathy with her back to the camera. LOL .. I've never seen this one. BTW .. we are moving in 4 days, to another house about the same size but $225 less a month. Oh YA BABYYYYYY Can I tell you how SICK I am of packing .. geesh |
