Run your anti virus software. Also use CLEARPROG or CLEANUP (both downloadable for free at Majorgeeks.com) and clear all of your temp and cache files. things should speed up after that.

I cleaned up all the temp files etc. I have Kaspersky which usually takes care of EVERYTHING! I'll keep trying. Thanks all!

Do you have a wireless mouse? Yea...cuz if it's wired, you just have to clean the roller ball...those boogers can get dusty...  NVM!

You're right on that I was just wondering cuz if it's wireless It'd be time for new batteries I didn't know she was taking about a laptop
