i used to feel broken and drained ... and i took a year to work on me. do the things that only i wanted to do. change my goals from "ours" to "mine" and really changed myself. i'm a different girl than i was before i met him... and a different girl than i was with him. time changed that in me. and now i am just breezing through life, doing what i need to do for me.. if love comes along, i'm sure i can share it.

Do you feel you cant love no more?Because you gave it all away and feel spent? i feel that i'm not capable of showing someone my love for them 100% but for now i guess 80 to 85% is pretty good ... i guess the other 15 to 20% is retainage.

Since I am a newbie....and have now read several people's posts consistently...I gotta say....even as you post in a thread like this, hopelessness is awash among some....one in specific. It's hard to see the good in a few when as a whole, we've been painted with such a dark stain...................................Lex.........

I used to feel...as if I gave it all away. That there was nothing left to give. Emotionally I was spent. Now, will be different. I won't dettle for someone that is not quite right. I've done that in the past, I'll be more selective from now on.
