At least for a guy online dating is mostly rejection. I hardly ever get
e-mails returned, a lot of times girls don't respond to me through the
im system either. Girls never write me first as a guy or im me first.
It seems that girls just pick and choose the guys they want while we
have to risk all the rejection. I haven't had that much success yet.
Thoughts?

Doing what you are doing..posting, sharing facets of you is a good way
to 'meet' women.

This is almost one dimensional enough, without, just 'answering an ad',
almost.

Using the forums, adding and sharing your perspectives gives people an
opportunity for people to 'see' you.

Many many friendships have developed through these forums, romances,
relationships, marriages..

I think that doing what you are doing here, is a far better way to
'meet' people, and make friendships, than just the trawling through
profiles and emailing people..
