What did you join for? What were you hoping to achieve from this site?

I'm here, because no one else will have me!!!!!!!
I got banned off the last site, for being blunt. I first joined to find out how many other single idiots lived in my area...(on the last site) and wandered over here, after some international friends told me about it. I want to be immortalised as the funniest, realist, most fantastic aussie chick in the universe.... ....dont we all?

I truly believed at 1 time that if I exposed my heart & soul through my writing at this site that 1 of us would find each other but sadly that never came to be.So yes I've pretty much given up in that area unfortunately.I can only hope that I achieve better results IRL.On a pos.note I have a few select friends that I care very deeply about & many acquaintances have been made along the way.I still prefer the JSH days though.Godspeed!Cy

I first joined for something to do when more often than not my sons seizures keep me at home. I've since decided to shop for the gloves that fit so to speak.

I originally joined at the suggestion of a current member who I'd known from another site. He'd left and found this place.
I stuck around for a bit, but it was too much trouble keeping up with a couple of sites, and I deactivated. Last summer, almost all of my online friends were banned from the site where we'd all met. One of them emailed me about this site and I'd realized that I was a member so I re-activated my account, and deleted the other. |

I joined on the suggestion of an acquaintance, didn't really become active for several months. Wasn't even sure what I was hoping to accomplish, at first it was just to fill some time. One of the first people I met here is the man I'm living with. So, I didn't really have any expectations but it turned into something wonderful.

But then I learned that the kind of person I'm looking for does not exist on dating sites....I had no real idea, prior to finding sites with forums, who/what was really "out there." So now it's back to the ol' drawing board.... |
