I bought my own manufactured home in November'08. I was and still am very excited. I own the home, but rent the lot. I can pretty much do what I want, where and when too! I love it! I have NEVER been by myself till recently, and I am 49. I love the silence and the just getting to know me. It had allways been my kids and me, or a billion other people living with us. I feel this is "ME" time now and I love it. I was much more EXCITED this time- then when I was younger and renting my first place that was'nt my parents home.

[However... my oldest son just moved back in with me- so by myself was short lived lol. He is helping me out around here for awhile due to being sick.]

Y'all are making me feel a little less nervous about this! Thank you!

Now I just have to get the utilities in my name and get internet set up... I'll go without cable but not without internet!

Fantastic. Am so excited for you. What a wonderful adventure you are on. The good thing is you don't have to clean up right away. The down side, you can't blame any messes on anyone else. Enjoy your independence.
