proposing ??
Like Sometimes men unknowingly annoy women by proposing love in a way that they mean to be romantic but that ends up disappointing their partners...

Proposing on Christmas, birthdays or other holidays is a HUGE no-no! grumble

An egagement should be it's own special day and memory; and the significance of the holiday shouldn't be shared with an engagement. winking

indeed indeed indeed.

the very proposal promote the notions that people are owned and governed by other people, and perpetuate the minds notions that other's are but employed to provide self happiness, and that self expectation's are as rights???

the very concept of current marriage definitions and directive, set the mind and all logic but to foster idealogies, that serve to work against any true survival of any greater friendship???

respect of want, and freedom from enslavement, of expectations as rights, could be the only directive's that would not subvert all good within a union called as marriage???

sadly thus far, the current interpretations have only been used to promote more bigotry, using the directive's defined as love, actually subverting any growth of true love, these simply promoting the lording over of other's to meet self satisfaction, each seeing it's own percieved rights as some ruler and dictator of another human's good behaviour.

it totally promote's childish thinking, as children shopping the shelve's of a candy store, seeking to find a suitable happiness giver and love provider to slave and work for self.

**** marriage, equal is king and queen, and marriage subvert it!!!

possibly, but i don't think i would want the momory of sitting on the toilet running through my girls head every time she thought about my proposal. talk about bad association and a bad omen for the relationship.
we can all predict where that relationship is going....right down the crapper.
