Topic: How so I get rid of text messages to my cell about crushes. | |
---|---|
I have read the terms and conditions, and the only mention of cancelling subscription is from their point of view. I did realize it when I entered my cell number that I would get all the messages. Does anyone know how to get rid of these?

Change your number.

Hi, deneez. We don't support SMS or anything like that directly. The upshot of this is that if you're getting Mingle2 messages texted to your phone, you must be using a 3rd party SMS email forwarding service. If that is the case, then I would just cancel the service or change its settings.
To stop using Mingle2, you can simply deactivate your account on the following page. Once that is done, your profile will not be accessible anywhere on the site. http://mingle2.com/user/show_settings |

Deneez.....I looked it up online and if you are talking about what I think you are talking about (that "crush" thing that you may have signed up for not knowing what it was), some webpages have suggested that you simply send a text back to one of them saying STOP in the message line. Give it a try.....the next one you get, reply back in a text message format with the word STOP. You may get a message back saying you are unsubscribed. |
