Okay, Junior... here's a a wee bit of education on what "Freezy Freakies" are...

They're essentially kid's winter mittens made of PVC or something. They use a special ink on them that will only start to show up in cold weather. You can't pour water on the gloves or try to lick them or throw them in the fire, doing those things won't make the designs come out.

You GOTTA be in cold weather for the designs to come out. All the cool kids back in the day had them.

Which explains why Chev never had any.

Not only that, but you were TOTALLY screwed if you lived in a part of the country that DIDN'T snow. This was the case with me, as my grandparents sent me a pair of Freezy Freakies at one point. They were "worried" I'd get cold in the winter weather out here in L.A.

Needless to say, my grandparents weren't all that bright.
