up front and personal issue for some of you/us on this site.

in the past 100 years, how many of you and your family members have done the deed to make it possible to inbreed?

dont be shy, let out the family secrets

I don't know how to spell the noise I just made when reading this thread. It was kinda between a spit out something nasty and you just smelled bad milk noise.

Me too, except I had a mouth full of coffee... Most of which is in my sinuses now...tears

NOT ON HERE, but in real life:

Having helped do several people "Family Trees", "First-cousins" were the most prevelant as far as being married...

Having done Counseling and hearing people confess their sins to me when their consciences got overloaded... you don't want to know.noway

I doubt it will be taken as an "up front and personal issue" on this site, but for the most part across history the one specific class that has done the most imbreeding is the wealthy and families in politcal power particularly the medieval royalty.

hey, i think we need to be considerate of those people who live in the central midwest part of our country. it's not their fault that their options are limited.

I have no idea in my family. However, my best friend growing up dated/slept with her first cousin. While it was illegal in our home state, it was (and I think still is) legal in his. Their family, while they disapproved, didn't really try to end it either. And, to top it off, she was 16 when it began and he was in his late 20's.

And yes, she has serious issues.

Hey...the ancient egyptians used to inbreed like there's no tomorrow and yet they produced one of the most brilliant ancient civilizations in history.

I mean if you're about the be crowned Pharao and you need a wife real fast that matches all of your royal highness whatnots, grab your sister. *shrug*

People pay big money for inbred dogs. Hundreds and hundreds of dollars.

Never understood that... when there are so many animals without papers who need loving homes.
