I'm going to see it sometime this week. I wanted to watch the original again first.
Was it faithful to the original? |

I'm going out tomorrow night, and we're going to see that.. I'm glad to hear its good!
Now I can't wait.. The movies have been pretty disappointing, IMO, lately... |

I enjoyed the original better just because of the times it came out the themes of the movie were a little more Hush Hush back then so it made it more startling.

I think I remember as a kid, the original was rated X and only shown at midnight movies. X for the graphic violence, times sure have changed.

Yes, I went to see "Last House on the Left" this weekend. I have seen the original, and I wasn't to impressed with it.
I was not expecting much in the remake, but the trailer had me curious. Although I have to say, it is better than the original, (it has all the elements of an 70's/80's horror movie), the drawn out rape scene was very hard to watch. A couple of ppl actually left the theatre, during that scene. It's a nice revenge movie, although I have seen wayy better, but just like the original movie it sends out a message, on what a parent is capable of doing, when someone harms our children. |
