Went dry from booze and drugs over twenty years ago.
Have an occasional drink, on weekends, now.
No pills, pot, cocaine, etc...and I'm glad for that.
Haven't quit the tobacco yet. That's on the "To Do" list.

I wonder sometimes how so many people can suffer from drug and alcohol lies and so few people who step forward and publicly say what a rip off it all is. How it trashes your life. How many years it takes to remotely recover. Even how it really isn't that much fun even to start. It would be so simple for the minimum drinking age to be raised to where the youth have the maturity to consume responsibly. Just changeing the laws that allow juviniles to consume in the home as minors would help.

Quit smoking 6 months ago (cold turkey). Dr's scared the hell out of me when they told me my EKG was all out of whack and that I would have to see a cardiolgist. Literally had cold chills go down my spine. Saw the cardio guy. they ran all kinds of tests, everything came out good and fine....I just have a weird EKG. I just have no deisre to smoke anymore and I smoked for 30 years.
