Thankfully, TRsmith, you have always like my honesty. It won't stop with this answer. Yes, it matters to me. I just don't vibe with guys my age or older. I like everything about younger guys from fashion, to music, to their physique, and most don't have kids. They are still on the go and don't get that "settle down" mentality. That mentality is the biggest turn off. I shudder when I hear, 'My partying days are behind me'. Why? Why stop if a person is responsible? The point of being older is knowing how to be a wild child and do a better job! That being said, I am still open to meeting someone my age. I can't go through life with blinders on and possibly miss something great! I agree with you Melody..I get along way better with the younger ones i agree with melody too. i do connect better with younger people, but if i found someone like me who felt and acted 10 yrs younger then i woud have no problem with dating them. i am still looking for him though! |

really matter anyway? As a generalisation I'd say yes but, to be more specific, I think both people need to be pretty much in the "same place" in life. That's how I look at it. While I don't have a specific age range I date.. they have to be somewhere around the same place in life I am. The bigger the age gap, the less likely we'll be on the same page. |

Altho I agree about not vibing with guys my age or older, the partying is not always what a younger guy is about. I am seeing a soldier who is 30 years younger than me. His fav thing is to chill out at home watching movies I do have kids so partying is not in my agenda much, but there's all kinds of stuff we have in common. That's how I look at it. Singme .. I have to disagree. My best conversations are usually with guys younger. And in fact the guy I'm with now and I talk a boatload I'm not on the same page with a guy who's old in mindset cuz I'm not. I don't even think about retiring and don't even have grandchildren yet. So ya .. I guess to each their own. I run out of things in common with 'old attitude' before we even get started |
