The thought did cross my mind but then again you can't think like that and expect to get ahead. if anything it gives to time to focus on yourself between relationships.
It is funny and contradictory to me that we can make monuments that last thousands of years and yet we can't make relationships last more than a few years! Bloody Fn' humanity!

Actually Andy, it makes perfect sense. Builders build the monuments and then walk away. It lasts thousands of years with no work.

i did as late as 35, went through hell, so many ways from thursday, and now, never again. i'm very happy visiting as many of you as i can for coffee on the harley, and adding y'all as family, outside world too. i love people, but y'all enhance it just fine as friends that get closer and closer, and thanks!

If I said, 'no' then I woudn't be giving an honest answer. I have thought 'love' might not happen. 
I am a romantic so deep inside my soul but I just haven't found someone that is one the same page as me or someone that loves me equally. I've had wonderful relationships that I woudn't give up for the world though.
I torture myself with this thought on occassion but I try not to allow 'lost cause' to poison my mind.

It has, now I'm left with the shattered remnants of what I thought...which was that love didn't exist, or existed in minimum quantities. I'm such a lost puppy now, but I don't mind I'm happy.

I felt that way after my divorce. I know now that it will happen sometime, even if it is only me loving myself.

I gave up for a long time....I was even married & I gave up LOL. Even after dating I believe I was skeptical then
I met Craig. 
The rest is history and pales in comparison....  He's my Johny Cash.

I wasn't so worried about 'love' as just meeting someone at all. Not sure if I'll say the "L" word, but I'm pretty firmly in "like like" (hey, you all remember Jr. High!) about a certain someone... Silly but fun!
