Well its not real large. Keeping the trees trim properly are a problem for me as well as the grass cutting because it slopes.
And of course with 2 dogs there is a lot of cleanup and hole digging from them.

Ah yes I get the picture.
Well coming from a house that had 4 1/2 acres to 1/3 of an acre is a godsend for me. I'm just delighted with my little yard in my established neighborhood. It's great.

I have in the past hired someone to do that ..but far too expensive
ITs not that I can't do it. I just don't like doing it.
I would love to have a vegetable garden ,but not with the dogs.

By the time we got our last dog I didn't have a garden anymore. It was huge and I couldn't take care of it with taking classes in the summer and working full time. I'm sure the dog would have been walking all through it if we had one. We would have had to fence it.

Well The truth is I love my dogs more than my yard or a garden ,so it is their space to run and play and do what they want.
The front yard is for me to plant flowers and keep pretty looking.
What breed of dog did you have?

The last dog we had was a golden retriever. We had an invisible fence around the entire property so he was king of the hill. He now lives with the ex. Before that I had a beagle mutt. She had to be on a leash when she was outside.

Yes i miss both of them. I don't have any pets now. I wish I could have a pet but I'm just not home enough and that wouldn't be fair to the pet.

We got him at 11 weeks old and he moved with my ex when he was 6 so no he was still all puppy. He was definitely an alpha male. He used to love to just run around 4 1/2 acres chasing birds.
