I feel that when a man raises his hand to hit a woman...he throws everything out the window.
If she so, choose to go back for more of the same... What can you do? You can't help someone, that don't want to help herself. A woman dose not HAVE to be in that type situation. JMO

what about commitment, unconditional love, working through problems no matter what and all that jazz... 
whats that old saying "love shouldn't hurt". Listen to it and think about what u are doing, never let anyone physically or emotionally hurt you, never no matter what they say to convince you otherwise! |

i have been in that kind of situation and i will never put myself there again. you have to love and trust yourself to be strong enough to go without him and not except his bullsh!t!!!

Look at the stages of Battered Women's Syndrome, that might explain part of it. I work with domestic violence clients at my internship. There are a number of different reasons for someone to go back to an abuser. If anyone would like to discuss it further, they are more than welcome to email me. |

Under what circumstances (if any) would you say it's ok for a woman to go back to a boyfriend who beat her? Me and my buddies tied a dude to the back of my truck by his legs and drug him around a field for that one time

all three of my sisters have been nearly killed by abusive ex's...they are away from them now and live on their own but it took several attempt...finally they all opened their eyes and realized they are going to keep beating on them

abuse is just that abuse It doesn't matter who started it or who finished it.. Abusive people need to seek professional help and determine why they are that way.. Could be nothing more then anger. But what causes that anger.. so I say NO WAY.
