It has been very frustrating to not be able to immediately know when I look at a profile if i have already communicated with this person, or just checked out their profile, so it looks familiar.

Why doesn't this site join the group of dating sites that allows you the message history right on the profile page?

probably because then others that are looking at your page could read the message history... i dont think you want that to be seen.

There are two ways to see your communication history.

1 - Open their profile. At the end of the compose 'messsage' field you will see a grey box for mutual matches, and under that box there is a record of your history with that member: views, nudges, emails.

2 - A copy of your message goes to your sent folder. When you click the 'mail' navigation link, a new list of navigation options are available -- including your sent folder. If you see a big check-mark to the right of the profile then you will know they read your message.
