I have seen and experienced far too much to rub anything funny on this subject.

I leave them to thier begging. No remorse. No pity. No mercy.

We all choose our paths.

I vote we feed em to the local animal shelters.

Krupra!.. Havent you ever made poor choices???????

I have lived off of a loaf of bread and a bag of potatoes....

I have lived in a home with electricity cut off.....

I have lived fearing that I might not make rent........

Sure, I have made poor choices. I lived through them. I made myself something more....

NEVER asking for something that I did not earn.

take a look at the beggars....when Charity vans and well meaning groups roll through to help them and send them a message of hope...

I see beggars with new jeans with CREASES! Sporting nice Army BDU jackets...clean new shoes....and nice new back packs....

With meals and sermons on positivity delivered to them everyday....

(I constantly find clothes in the dumpster cause the bums know when the churches give new clothes...and they would rather throw thiers away than wash it.)

The system is flawed.

Handicapped folks are employed at several business's within a quarter mile.....

Yet none of them hold up a sign that says "WILL WORK FOR FOOD"

They hold up the signs that say "Disabled or Need Gas or Homeless Vet...God Bless"

Personally, I believe that the people who give something for nothing are only encouraging the situation.

Just my take on things....don't get ticked off for me calling it as I see it.

"Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime"

You got the quote wrong, It's "Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach a man to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all afternoon."

I will accept the blame...let it start here.

If It is bad to expect people to tend to thier business....

The line starts right here.

If you are gonna expect any sympathy from me...you better be missing a limb or two.

If you don't agree...fine.

Just ask yourself this....the next time you are handing money out to a bum....would you trust that bum to care for your child or pet for a few hours?.....or do you just give out money to make yourself feel better....(cause if that is the case....I can send you my private e-mail and you can give your extra cash to me) I am the preferred babysitter among my friends...go figure.

These people get on my last nerve. I'd take them to homeless world where only homeless people are. I'll bet they'd get a dayum job then.mad

Having been homeless... and knowing people who are facing that now.... everything I can...

We have housed homeless people, fed them, offered shelter, or transport to shelters...clothing, food, medical assistance.

I don't give money... I give tangible practical support.

Something to think about... with the decline of many country's economies... there WILL be many more homeless... decent genuine, fine people who through circumstances not of their own find themselves extremely vulnerable.

Yes, Jess. Sadly there's going to be more with the job market the way it is now. Companies are closing and in some cases, both parents work there. More families then ever, in my lifetime, will be homeless.
