Topic: Good obscure (non-mainstream) bands... | |

Does anybody know of any? Preferrably non hip-hop or country.
Here are a few I discovered recently.... The Birthday Massacre - gothy type alternative metal w/female vocals Nightwish - Power metal w/alternating female/male vocals Hammerfall - Kinda like a newer Iron Maiden Ringside - Catchy poppy alternative rock The Faint - I've actually been listening to these guys for a while. Catchy synth/alternative electronica Apoptygma Berzerk - Also been listening to these guys for a while. Techno/Industrial Cursive - Kinda hard to categorize these guys. |

Pylon and Curve are 2 of my faves that just never made it into mega-bigness, especially Curve, Toni Hallyday's voice is from heaven...

80's band with pro skater Steve Caballero on guitar called Odd Man Out, I was just thinking abouut how much I miss listening to them and how I wish I still had a working copy of their album. There was also a band called Hollow Men and an album called "Cresta" I still have on tape, good stuff
