 What do you think about doing countdowns when planning on meeting someone on here?Is this really a good idea?

It's a normal feeling (excitement) we can't help ourselves. Keep doing the countdown!

EGADS! I would never announce that I was meeting someone! Seen it happen way too many times...people "gush" about meeting...it doesn't work out (for whatever reason)...then they either 1)Look like an idiot or 2)They whine & cry cuz he/she didn't meet their expectations...which is even worse IMO... NO SPANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Been there.....done that.
But seriously....I really don't think a countdown makes it any more or less exciting. Maybe for other people....but not for me. I'm megasuperbig excited already. |

There is a certain amount of readiness that goes with the countdown.
The anticipation, along with the excitement, gets closer with each day! Just remember...don't let it get you all stressed out...be comfortable, and let the pieces fall where they may!

I'm not doing a countdown myself both people should agree on what they make public I feel like yes I'd want to announce out of excitement but what if things didn't go well?

I think the countdowns and making everything so public just adds stress to an already stressful situation. Because not only are the people involved wondering if they will mesh as well in real life as here but then everyone else is wondering about it as well.

if you are refering to me I'd be very nervous contantly making sure I thought I looked good and probaly having the shakes
