For me it did.
Was single and kids were all grown. Went back to school had a boyfriend and worked part time. Life was good and it only got better for me....LOL All up hill till 50 they say....hehehehehehe |

40 is great! I have my youthful stupidity behind me as well as my past. I have learned from my mistakes and life is really good now.

I love being 40-- I feel smarter, more attractive, settled and can stand a little closer to the line without being tempted to cross.

I can't tell the difference from my life of crap pre-40 and my life of crap post-40.

It has gotten better for me since turning 40. I am going back to school for a second degree. Met a very nice man and am dating him. Kids are almost grown. I remember what works and what doesn't.

Good things: Not as stupid as I use to be, going for my RN after being an LPN for 6 years, Living where I've always wanted to live.
Sucky things: Never married (not a committment phobe), No kids secondary to....never married, Getting paranoid about EVER finding he right woman who doesn't have 50,000 lbs. of baggage from her past. So, for me, there's good and bad in live at 40. |
