I agree that both men and women get hurt on the internet...it's the nautre of the beast. But I refuse to catergorize one as always complaining that they are MORE hurt than their counterparts.....maybe we just show it in different ways.....
Internet, outside the computer, they hurt evrywhere. Ive had a women or two tell me i couldnt possibly hurt worsr than them. guess what, not true.

<<<Was only commenting on internet stuff, but knows that it happens in real life too, sir.

The very interesting contest between men v women on who hurts more is right outta Jane Austen's Persuasion. What a grand book.
Wish my attention span was large enough to comprehend a book other than a chiltons GM repair manual.

Women can be very harsh, it's sad but true. I have learned through this site that men are indeed loving and caring, and find it so sad that it took me this long in my life to realize that men really DO love women for more than a roll in the hay...I suppose it's because I have always given my all to any relationship and never got that back...and never felt that I actually deserved to be loved, therefore, felt it impossible for men to have "real feelings". It simply takes that ONE PERSON to make us realize that the feelings are in each of us.

you sound like you`ve made some real progress in your life as far as relationships go,.

it is a life long challenge for sure,..

have you ever heard of the book,.

Woman Who Love Too Much -- it`s a most excellent read,..

well it may be a generalization of sorts..But I do feel men are held to different standards.. we aren't expected to be hurt... and we seem to all fit into that one catorgory of "pigs".. But on the other side men tend to reciprocate with all women are 'Biotchs" and they seem to be the "hurt" party..

ahhh isn't love grand? if your afraid of being put into a neat little sterotype place or getting hurt/ Then stay away from love. Other wise come on in the waters fine.

do guys really hurt just as much as we do? and can they love as fully?

Not at all sure it's even possible to quantify/compare "hurt" experiences -- I just assume everybody is different and deals with it differently, but I've never been in anybody else's exact position so how would I really know for sure?

I will tell you this -- my life, my experiences, lead me to believe that guys can hurt just as much as women do....but that belief is not entirely "objective" in its nature, either. I know what I've been through, I know what people I know have been through. I've seen how various people deal withe these things.

But I can't honestly tell you that I've been hurt more (or less) than you have. I just don't have any way of knowing.

All I know is that I don't want to go through it again.

I know girls get emotionally attached rather quickly.
but honestly, there are a lot of guys out there that hurt just as much as we do and have yet to express it because of the whole "masculine" imaage. i'm not making **** up, i have 7 brothers.
it's just awful that girls categorize all males as jerks, which all of us are guilty of after a couple bad experiences..but is it really fair? do guys really hurt just as much as we do? and can they love as fully?

 Life is a waste of time and time is a waste of life, so waste your time and have the time of your life !

What if their opinion involves complaining about something?

That's an opinion, too.

See, in some ways this is like a big circle.

OK, I have not fully read this whole topic, but let me see if I got this right.

We have a woman complaining about women complaining.

Is it just me or does this sound REALLY....OH what is the word that I am looking for? Ummmm hypocritical?huh

I think I am with Pat on this one as well.yawn
