Tired from being in an attic all day wrestling with a Central Heater install!

All I got to do is vent it, hook up the gas line, and adjust her in after I put the new thermostat on.

That and I got to make sure the customer's electrostatic filter is doing its thing when I fire it all up.

What was funny to me was my solution of how to get a fifty five inch long heater into a hole 28 X 30 with only 30 inches of head space above the hole and a support beam right next to the opening in the direction I would have to have slanted the heater to get the old one out and the new one in.

I tore them both completely apart and reassembled the new unit in the attic! I had no left over hardware and no mess ups at all. My install actually is cleaner than the original by a long shot and I even fixed some of the original screw ups of the old install and earthquake secured the unit as well. I do go the extra mile to do the job right with the least amount of damage to the house doing the work. Normally I would have put in a new attic access but this particular install was not so gracious to allow such an easy way out.

So now I am sitting here in front of my computer getting ready to go get dinner because I do not feel like making squat for myself.

I'm sad. A good friend of mine is having emergency surgery to amputate her hand in the morning.

I can't wait for Monday, so i can go back to work. Its been 2 weekends in a row that something bad has happened! First my girlfriend broke up with me, then my cat dies. I'm scared of what next weekend will bring, because everything happens in 3s.
