It does take a village to raise a child. Parents, grandparents, teachers, coaches, pastors. They all contribute.

Except for the parents, all the others are suspect, expendable, and often enough a waste of time spent better elsewhere. IMO

My child's grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, teachers, coaches, and Pastor have enriched my child's life. The more people that care about my child, the better.

I am sincerely (<--really, sincere) pleased that your personal life "village" is filled with good trustworthy people. I wish that more were so blessed.

people just want to argue. It doesn't really matter what you say someone will take issue with it

and the American Way is to demonize and marginalize the opinions of anyone they dont agree with. ESPECIALLY in these forums

I didn't see where anyone was offended. I think some just might disagree. Does that offend you?

The children that my child goes to school with have the same kind of life too. Yes, it is a blessing. Thank you.

I did forget to leave another group out. It's the Scouts leaders.

My child's grandfather and father are here playing basketball with my child. My child's Uncle is driving 4 hours next weekend for my child's b-ball tournament.

See...it's not just the parents. It IS the village, IMO.
