Annoy A Liberal... Work Hard And Smile

The only thing i like about his welfare plan is, the chance to get mo Gubament Cheese. I like that stuff.

Perhaps, in a few months we can all debate all this while we wait in the bread line together.

Why on earth would working hard annoy a Liberal?

Well I guess I am not a liberal since working hard has never annoyed me, with me doing it or others. Whew glad that has been clarified.

We won't see bread lines again. And I don't think they give out government cheese anymore with the Commodities program. It was a surplus they had that is why they gave it out.

Then, I vote against Welfare.

I'm a Democrat and working hard has never annoyed me so what's your point? I know Liberals that work 2 jobs to support their families...again..what's your point?

My mom worked for the company that gave out the cheese in our city. They have done that in.... maybe 20 years.

The commodities program wasn't welfare, it was a food assistance program for low income people to help with nutrition. Wic is now the main program for this.

I second that. My mother retired from the company that controlled the cheese contributions and WIC for our city. It has nothing to do with welfare.

You don't have to explain Welfare to me. I lived through the old/new welfare system.

I thought I read in a prior post in this topic, there are no more food lines.

That's laughable and very sad you believe the number of homeless isn't growing.

They have lost the jobs Obama promised to save. They got no more kitchens to cook in.

Tent cities are growing faster than the cops can tear them down.

I wasn't aware that Obama could save jobs with 4 weeks in office.
Sounds quite unrealistic to think such a thing.

Since the Hughes scam, the homeless haven't been addressed by him.
I'm just like most. As long as I have my retirement and feel secure, why concern myself with those who don't see hope.
Like drgns, pretend they don't exist and aren't waitng in food lines somewhere.

Most don't feel that way, I believe. That's why "the most" voted for Obama.
