I can't stand waiting...just to be waiting...
What do YOU do to make things happen? |

Pick a social event to go to, and invite the other to join you. Make it a common thing, with easy access in and out. Should at least get things moving in the right direction, and if they hem and haw, tell them you paid for it. That ought to get them off the ledge, ha ha.

I had a lover who sold a butt-load of his posessions...just to spend a week with me...now THAT'S making things happen! Then I sit & wonder about all the people who complain about being alone...

I just get in the car or my truck & go places

If you make a commitment, you must man or woman up and do whatever it takes to make that commitment happen. No excuses, just results. Sometimes life kicks you around, but never,...ever, give up, and when it all seems too much, you push harder. I don't give up until there is nothing left. Waiting is the hardest thing to overcome.

I'm sure he can speak for himself... ...but every day is a lesson in patience & fortitude...we do many things to "be" with eachother...& his motives are definetly not questionable... |

First Duck, you have no idea about what this wonderful woman was going to do. I had a very nice business in Rhode Island. She was going to give up all to move in with me. Two weeks before she was to move in the owner of the store I was in sold it. A "lot" of men would have just crawled under the rock they normally are under. So I sold many items and went to Texas and stayed a week, then went back to RI and sold most of my items and moved to Texas and stayed for 6 weeks. I am now doing "everything" I can to make sure we have a great place to live and a business to keep our lives in order. I will have a 40 year military and government retirement in 3 years. If you need to know more email me directly. When you don't know of what you speak, then silence is golden.

I do what is the last thing anyone would expect me to do. I'll go to a fancy restaurant wearing jeans with the ass out and a Dead Kennedeys t-shirt. Or Coyote Bar wearing a 3 piece suit and Keds. Whatever Im not supposed to.
One thing is sure, wherever I go, it gets exciting. I like it like that. And I'mm not waiting on anyone. If they aint there, Im gone. |

Most people that don;t know me think I'm a troublemaker cause I don't like to fit. But I'm a peace loving, happy guy always...as long as nobody lays hands on me or mine. Just a month or so ago I stopped in little hole in the wall redneck bar wearing my funny wool Canada hat with the"ponytails" and two big old oafs started talking about it..like I wasn't even there! I told em...and it REALLY took them back.."I considered my attire before I stepped in here because I saw the pickups and toolboxes. I decided that I'd only need one of two replies "Thank you or F**k you...choose whichever you like". And I'm smiling...as usual. You can see it in their faces, they think Im either crazy as hell or tough as hell..and they start apologizing. Before its over theyre buying me drinks and introducing me around. Typical night for me. But thanks again. WE feel not so crazy now. |

Sometimes, FreetoB...it's fun pushing the square peg into a round hole... I prefer the round peg in the square hole. So to speak. |

If I am waiting in a queue too long, I start making loud bodily noises and stagger about and usually can move up pretty fast.

Yea...waiting in line sucks, too! I usually just scream "My water broke!" It's amazing how quickly a path clears!

Isn't it nice not to feel compelled to conform to unwritten guidelines for social behavior?
