Oh now...You take the heart of a Moose and hollow it out, fill it full of wild rice dressing, throw it in the oven for a few hours and then make a gravy from the drippings... Serve with a big pan of fresh Buttermilk biscuits to sop the left over gravy on your plate??....My all time fave supper...Too bad we only get to eat it once a year....

My old land lord many years ago gave me a moose quarter cuz his wife did'nt like wild game .Someone accidently pulled the cord to my freezer before I ever got too take bite !

what a waste Star... Pat, my Dad has a smoker too and he has done some Moose roasts in there and then finished them on the grill.... If they are cooked right they are better than beef any day...
