If it is a relationship by choice such as a boyfriend/girlfriend, you walk away and leave.
If it is a family member, you make it clear that you will not be subjected to verbal abuse. If they do not stop or don't try to get help, you may have to walk away from that relationship too. |

ok...what about a business relationship? It depends on the situation, if it's someone of power and authority over you, it's illegal for them to verbally harass you. Look for another job and report the individual. If it's someone that you do business with, would it be too big of a loss to lose the account. Is is someone that you don't have to deal with on a daily basis? |

If its a relationship by choice, I would walk away.
If it was a business relationship, I would say something right away. If you don't keep the lines of communication open and you let that person get away with it one time, it will happen over and over. If you don't stand up for yourself, who will? |

do you have a written lease? if so is he/she in violation of it? respect for others goes a long way. but if they are abusive in language or behavior ? all you can do is stick to the lease and they will have to respect your privacy and that means no contact. Unless you make arrangements to have something fixed .
