Most of the first paragraph, except for a brief mention someplace else in the essay about no drinking and drugs, is unnecessary. However, other than that, it is one of the best I've read.

I agree with your point, actually! I don't date men with kids but I respect those that are single parents who keep kids out of the equation until things are serious. Maybe just tone it down a tad or edit the concept more succinctly.  Welcome, and have a blast

Very well done. I think more people should be up front about what they will/will not tolerate and not make people find out some where down the line that there are ISSUES. It showed humor, respect, and intelligence all high priorities. Good Job!!!! And welcome to the crew~
