 Most people are attracted to bright, joyful expressions -- silliness -- so in order to attract that in a person, you have to exude that in YOU. 
As Lilith said, add more about you in your profile. What are your goals, travel plans, what are you looking for in a potential match, etc. Write something to inspire more interest and conversation. I skip over profiles that have a sentence or less. The worst are profiles that say, "Ask me anything." 
Dating shouldn't be dentistry. I don't want to have to extract information about a person like pulling teeth! 
 I love profiles that rev me up so much that I can't sit still because I want to contact that person NOW -- NOW isn't fast enough!!
