What gives you a more clear indication of a person’s character? Their actions...or their reactions?

Voice, pitch and tone. Words they use, length and number of syllables. Really can be a complicated matter.

Neither. Their actions might give me some clue into their morals their reactions could give me some clue into their emotional stability and how grounded they are but their character can only be known over the test of time as it is a combination of all of the above.

lately I would say their reactions. I already knew their normal actions and how they were . Its the unexpected that tells a lot.

The first 10 seconds of dialogue. After that...you will know if they are an idiot or not.
