You might add a few things about what you are looking for in a person and a bit more about you. Be a bit more descriptive....but all in good it's a decent profile...welcome home...have fun and good luck!

Add at least four more sentences to your profile, and a photo where a person can see what you look like, (no hat).... that would be great.
To sum it up, like Simon Cowell says, you need to be less forgettable. Brief generic blurbs are really not eye catching. Do something so you stand out. The best way to do that is to insert your personality in there and avoid generic useless terms like laid back, easy going, nice, fun, etc etc etc Good luck to you. |

HI
Definately add a pic without a hat so a lady can see your 'out to dinner look'. Well, you know, a different look than how you would work around the house. You mention kids a lot. I know it's hard for single parents to date but kids shouldn't even come into the romantic/dating picture until you know the situation is turning serious. It's great to mention them, but I would focus your profile more on you -- as an individual -- and not as a parent. If you meet a wonderful lady then show your parent side and all that goes with being a single parent. Mention goals in your profile: travel, education, future ambitions. That will inspire conversation! Take my comments regarding kids with a grain of salt; I mention it only with the greatest of respect. I am not a parent and I don't date men with kids. I just know from talking to some of my single girlfriends that do date men with kids that this as an issue too early in the relationship. I suppose the theory is to know the 'man' first before knowing the 'family man/parent'. Have a super time dating! This is a great site! |
